Dr. Matt Lanum

I was referred to Dr. Matt Lanum for lower back pain following a rear-impact car accident. My treatments consisted of heat with electrical muscle stimulation and chiropractic adjustments, then he customized stretching and weight training exercises as my progress continued. My quadriceps have reappeared after 20 years of hiding!

After several weeks of treatments, my PMS unexpectedly disappeared! My family & friends were very happy as well! When I missed a week of treatments due to a vacation, the PMS discomfort returned in full force.

Dr. Lanum spends a great deal of time with his patients. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is extremely patient. He enabled me to return to my active lifestyle without medication. He is a true gem!!  His team of professionals is very warm and inviting. They are conveniently located in Bernardsville, and the office hours are very accommodating.

I have been a patient at Bernards Sports Chiropractic since 2003. Dr. Matthew Lanum and his supportive staff have enabled me to reach many of my running goals. As an athlete with curvature of the spine (scoliosis) and herniated discs in the cervical spine (neck), I rely on frequent chiropractic adjustments. My running mileage while training for marathons can reach 85-90 miles a week. Because of the stresses and demands of the intense training, I have often required treatment for overuse injuries.
